Two tanks are recommended for Jan'alai - one for the boss itself and another, ideally a Protection Paladin, for the Птенец аманийского дракондораs.

The boss tank does not have anything special to do - control the boss and occasionally move slightly to avoid a Огненная бомба.

The Dragonhawk tank will need to group up and control the many Птенец аманийского дракондораs that spawn from the left or right sides of the platform. A well executed fight will have them only spawning from one side at a time.

Tips for Melee on Jan'alai

Melee damage dealers will mostly stay on the boss, only players with access to strong AoE will peel away to help with Птенец аманийского дракондора when there are many of them.

Melee damage dealers will have to move away from the Огненная бомба, sometimes even stop attacking temporarily if the area around the boss is covered in them.

Tips for Ranged on Jan'alai

Ranged DPS will be responsible for clearing most of the Птенец аманийского дракондора that spawn during the fight. Single target at first, and then AoE damage when many spawn at once.

Just like all other raiders, Ranged DPS will have to move away from Огненная бомба when they spawn.

It is important for the ranged DPS and healers to spread all the way around the boss and use up the whole space. This reduces the number of people hit by each cast of Пламенное дыхание.

Tips for Healers on Jan'alai

Healers will need to watch the health of both the boss tank as well as the Птенец аманийского дракондора tank. The Dragonhawk tank will take an especially large spike of damage when they start tanking many hawks at once.

The Удар пламенем debuff cast by the hawks is a magic effect and can and should be dispelled, especially for the tank assigned to the hawks.

When Jan'alai Исступлениеs at 25% health, the tank will need extra healing. Be sure to keep them alive!

Jan'alai Abilities for Zul'Aman in Burning Crusade Classic

At 25% health, Jan'alai will enrage. This increases the boss's damage dealt by 50% and attack speed by 50%.

Flame Breath is a frontal cone attack cast at a random raid member. Jan'alai will turn towards them and unleash this attack, dealing around 5000 fire damage to all players in a cone in the direction of the targeted player.

Firebomb will be used periodically throughout the fight. This spreads dozens of red orbs around the room randomly, and a few seconds later they will all explode, dealing around 6000 fire damage to anyone caught in the blast. Each bomb deals its own damage, so it is possible to take much more than 6000 fire damage if you are struck by multiple bombs.

Flame Buffet is used by the Птенец аманийского дракондора that spawn from the eggs on the sides of the room. It inflicts around 500 initial fire damage and applies a stacking magic debuff to the target that increases fire damage taken by 3% and lasts 1 minute.
